When we started The Big Damn Dog Co., we weren't chasing awards.

After watching our own Great Dane, Lucy, navigate the challenges that come with being a giant breed, we became convinced that these dogs deserved more than products designed for average-sized dogs. They deserved research, education, and nutrition built specifically for their unique needs. 

That's why we're incredibly honored to share that our Giant Breed Hip & Joint Gravy Blend has been named the 2026 Dog Food Functional Topper of the Year by the Pet Innovation Awards.
